About Us

Who We Are

The ACTS Charitable Foundation is an independent, nonprofit, non-governmental organization. The Directors set policy and delegate authority to the President and senior staff for the Foundation’s operations. We operate as a not for profit platform that encourages and supports collaboration to maximize the leverage of philanthropic dollars and engagement through the pursuit of two strategies:

Increasing philanthropic resources by supporting organizations, business entities, programs and projects that encourage the use of innovation for public service; and
Encouraging and supporting long-term collaborations among like-minded entities working in the same area, in order to increase philanthropic impact, and by incorporating sound business practices.

Accountability

Our pledge is to be effective in our collaborations by being good stewards of the funds entrusted to us. We are audited yearly, and the information below is summarized.

The Foundation is committed to distributing the following percentage of "directed" expenditures as follows:

Programs and Projects: 93%
Infrastructure and Administration: 7%

International Pilanthropy

We are dedicated to serving an international community through private initiatives for the public good as diversely recognized and practiced around the globe - specifically shared understanding, technology, and human dignity.

We are guided by the biblical principle of compassion for others and demonstrate this in the care and concern we show for those we serve.

Integrity

We are committed to ongoing improvement, professional and financial excellence, ethical development practices and careful stewardship of the resources entrusted to our organization.
